Tarot Courses & Workshops

Many years ago, Gallianna was asked if she would consider teaching people to understand Tarot but with having a full time business, a young son and also very little time, she wanted to keep the readings to a minimum. She also felt that, as there was so much information available if people were interested they would find it. During the intervening years through innumerable readings the same question has been asked from interested people “I want to learn and I’ve tried everything to understand the meanings, can you help me?” These people have read books, attended various workshops that promise knowledge but deliver very little, and if these students are gifted their teachers can’t accommodate or adjust their style of teaching for that particular persons needs. A sort of one size fits all mentality.

Gallianna teaches workshops for people who want to learn Tarot so they can read for themselves. Tarot is like any other language once you understand the basics, it's up to the person to decide how much more they want to learn. Consulting the Tarot has helped people when they have questions or are faced with difficult decisions. By giving people knowledge and understanding they can help themselves, this then leads to transformation in a variety of different ways. Learning Tarot involves working on two levels; events that will happen day to day are known as the Exoteric. "Why are we here"? Or "Why does this keep happening"? This is called the Esoteric which has to do with Karma or Spiritual development and helps us understand the lessons we face.

Types of Workshops

Choice of two workshops depending on what feels right for you.

Introductory Level

This involves a full day of training; you can expect to understand how the cards apply in real life. Working only with the major arcana and two simple reading spreads, this will give you enough of a basis to be able to read for friends and family, also includes development exercises.

Comes with illustrated 30 page workbook and certificate of training.

Full two day Course

Using the whole pack of cards means working with the major and minor arcana, which is intensive work. At the end of the course, you will have acquired enough knowledge to do a proficient reading for anyone. You will also be given exercises to follow in your own time that allow you to continue adding to your skills as you progress and avoid making common mistakes. Three different types of reading spreads are taught.

Before you attend a workshop, you will have already been given details and have been asked a series of questions to ascertain your potential and experience. It would be advisable to purchase a pack of Tarot, highly recommended is the Ryder Waite pack. This pack forms the basis that Gallianna teaches from, once there is full understanding of this deck it is easier then to move onto to your personal choice of Tarot pack. The workshops are kept small as the dynamic of the group will be intensive and involve a lot of work, larger groups have proven to be distractive as there will always be someone who wants to prove themselves ahead of everyone else, which then holds the others back when it comes to opening up or asking questions
